You confirm all placement details and hours. This starter does not import clinical-log records automatically, calculate eligibility or certify clinical competence. Use aggregate information without patient identifiers.

Before you start.
Do externship sites ask for different placement details?
Yes. For example, Lurie Children's asks for total hours and pediatric experience, while OHSU's guidance includes hours per week. This starter has fields for completed and projected totals. Add other required details in your activity descriptions or editable document, following the site's current instructions.
Does it calculate clinical hours or pediatric percentages?
If you enter completed hours and the pediatric hours within that total, it calculates a percentage for that placement, rounded to one decimal place. Projected hours are excluded. It does not derive hours from dates, verify your totals or calculate a percentage when the completed total is missing or zero.
Can I upload a CV or clinical log?
You can upload an existing CV or paste background text, then enter placement records manually. This is not a clinical-log integration. Use aggregate placement information and leave out names or other details that identify patients.
Can I review the draft before paying?
Yes. Build, review and copy it free, then see the full formatting preview. Standard Google Docs, Word and PDF export costs $9 USD once. An editable export can be shared with a faculty reviewer.
